CircularBuild Project Kick-Off Event (EEAGrants)
We invite you to participate in the Kick-Off Event of the CircularBuild Project, which takes place on February 17, 2021 at 11:00 am by video conference. The CircularBuild project - Development and Validation of the Circularity Concept Applied to Modular Prefabricated Construction is promoted by the company CONCEXEC - Arquitectura, Lda. in partnership with the National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC), the Norwegian research institute RISE and the Sustainable Habitat Cluster, with funding from the EEA grants program (supported by the donor countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) managed by the General Secretariat for the Environment, operator of the program in Portugal.
This project aims to investigate solutions with alternative materials for the panels of the prefabricated modular system of CONCEXEC in a perspective of circularity, allowing a total reuse of the generated waste, without compromising the performance of the building in terms of energy efficiency and also contributing to the new paradigm of "Zero Carbon Buildings".
